This is a day long journey allowing your senses to connect you home to the heart.  

Touch ~ you will learn the practice of Abhyanga (self-massage)

Smell ~ aromatherapy for the body 

Taste ~ nourish your spirit with a delicious lunch stimulating the six different tastes and create a sweet dessert together.

Hearing ~ enjoy the variety of silence, laughter, and soothing music

Vision ~ enjoy the one hundred acres of secluded rolling hills, grazing pastures, wooded creeks, apple trees and llamas.

Welcome and enjoy a day long journey of self-care.

Your day will start out enjoying a yoga class themed around health and wellness for the digestive, circulatory & lymphatic, and respiratory systems with the intention for healing and ease. 

 

After yoga, enjoy a delicious vegetarian lunch to nourish the body.  You may also join in around the kitchen island and create a sweet dessert together and discuss the six tastes in Ayurveda.  This time is also free time to journal, rest, etc.

In the afternoon, you will learn abhyanga (self-massage) as we focus on marma points (similar to acupressure) for self-healing.  We will anoint the body with a special blend you choose of aromatherapy and carrier oil.  After the anointing of the points, you will rest in restorative yoga poses and complete the practice with a guided relaxation.  This relaxation is themed around self-love and tapping into the body's innate power for health and healing.

You are encouraged to participate in any session you would like, and also listen to your intuition if you need quiet time for yourself.  All organized activities are optional.  Feel free to take a walk, meditate, etc. to deepen your experience.  All levels of yoga experience are welcome.

Yoga for the Body's Healing

10 - 11:30 a.m.

Join Kris for a body system inspired yoga practice filled with asana, breath-work, meditation and an intention to connect .  You may learn some techniques to do on your own at home.

Nourishing Lunch

11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

Join us for a lovely vegetarian lunch to nourish your body and heart.  Warming spices and Ayurvedic themed meal will be offered.

Gather around the kitchen island together and discuss the Ayurvedic 6 tastes, learn and create a nourishing sweet treat for after lunch.

Time to explore

11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

And/or use this time to journal, read, sip tea by the fireplace, take a walk, etc.  This is your time just to be.

Abhyanga,

Restorative Yoga, &Guided Relaxation for Healing

3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Learn the practice of Abhyanga - 

Self-massage and anointing with oil and aromatherapy the marma points (acupressure points) before we rest the body in restorative poses.  Incredibly relaxing and nourishing.  The practice will then be woven into a deeply healing practice with a guided relaxation by Kris.
